Fairy Ring is actually a family of lawn diseases that are caused by more than 40 species of Basidiomycete lawn fungi. Fairy Ring is very common and affects all types of grass found in the United States, with damage occurring from early spring through early winter.
Leaf Spot
Leaf Spot is a lawn disease that attacks a wide variety of grass types across the United States. In northern climates, Leaf Spot damage occurs first in the spring and then again in late summer to early fall. In southern climates, the damage occurs from late spring through early winter. Severe cases of Leaf Spot may also be known as Melting Out.
Dollar Spot
Dollar Spot is a common lawn disease that marks your lawn with its namesake: silver dollar-sized patches. Dollar Spot typically affects all warm- and cool-season grasses across the country. Infections are most common during the summer months across northern states and during the spring and fall in southern states.
Brown Patch
Brown Patch is a hot-weather lawn disease that is sometimes referred to as Large Patch or Rhizoctonia Blight. Brown Patch affects most types of grass across the country, with signs of damage appearing during late summer in the northern states and fall through mid-winter in the southern states

During your first visit, a specialist will perform a TruGreen Lawn Assessment, which allows them to create a plan for your lawn’s unique needs.
Your specialist will visit your property every four to six months to make sure your lawn is looking its best.
You’ll get a service summary after each visit, which includes tips and suggestions for care between visits.
It can take 7-14 days before you’ll start to see fewer weeds and for your grass to respond to the nutrients from fertilization.

TruGreen is committed to setting the industry standard for education, training and certification of our specialists. First, we provide intensive on-going training series all for new specialists. The program covers a variety of agronomic, horticultural and safety related topics. Each new specialist is paired with a mentor who provides coaching. Our specialists must meet TruGreen’s rigorous TruExpertSM certification and state licensing standards to apply weed and pest control products. TruGreen also has technical managers, degreed horticulturists, in each market to provide additional local expertise.

After a service, TruGreen advises customers to allow the application to dry before families and pets resume enjoying their lawns. Although highly dependent upon temperature and humidity, most liquid products TruGreen uses dry within 1-2 hours.
